From Transit Miami reader Alex Adams we get this urgent call for sponsors for the next Bike Miami Days :
We need your support to make Bike Miami Days a reality in 2010. Bike Miami Days is a family friendly open streets event that promotes bicycling over auto dependent vehicles for one day. The City of Miami will be closing a number of streets to automobile traffic to provide a safe, clean atmosphere to explore our urban centers in a new way. This year’s events in Coconut Grove and Downtown Miami will not be able to happen without support from local businesses.
Please look over the sponsorship package beginning at $1,000 tax deductable. I encourage you to visit our homepage at www.miamigov.com/bikes to learn more about bicycle initiatives within the City of Miami. If you know of anyone else who also believes in pedestrian oriented neighborhoods and safe family events please forward this email as necessary and I hope everyone will attend one of our upcoming Bike Miami Days in 2010.
Please contact our Bicycle Coordinator if you can help.Collin Worth Bicycle Coordinator City of Miami (o) 305.416.1022 (f) 305.416.2153 email@example.com
