At the forefront of Miami’s residential development boom, stand the designs of the local, ambitious architect Chad Oppenheim. The young Cornell Graduate, only 34, has made a splash in the architecture scene with his innovative modern designs and latest plans for energy efficient buildings. The soon to be completed Ten Museum Park is his first major contribution to the Miami skyline. Of all the buildings rising along the “Miami wall” (Biscayne Boulevard Condos,) Ten Museum Park will have the greatest effect on the skyline despite being the shortest of the five towers rising. I found the following pictures on an online forum I frequently visit, they were originally posted by Edrag Tnava and provide us with some exclusive first looks at the inside of one of our most innovative condominium towers thus far:

The windows minimize the impact of the towers as well as cut down on the amount of light entering the space to keep cooling costs down, but still using some form of natural lighting without having to run your lights all day. Great thinking. My only issue is that they places the biggest windows towards the East without much protection or coverage from the sun. The design is nice, the loft space is great, I just wish he would have used more extrusions to cover those windows from the full impact of the sun.

Residences like these demonstrate Miami’s powerful attraction as a thriving metropolis blended with the casualness of a beach town. The floor plan of this loft is similar to a Miami Beach loft residence at Tropical Resort on the north side of the beach, although sans the spectacular high rise views and resort-style amenities.

I was really curious to see what the units were like inside.

The horizontal windows are amazing. I thought they were windows to the hallways or maybe bathrooms (privacy but with light?). Nice to know they go into the living space.

People will shortly come to the realization that this building will become one of the most desired buildings in Miami. It sits on a prime parcel and with the renovations to Museum Park - Ten Museum Park, Marina Blue, 900 Biscayne Bay and Marquis will quickly become Miami’s elite real estate choices.

A lot of people ask me how I like living in Costa Rica. My answer is, it was the best decision that I made in my life. I came to Costa Rica 7 years ago on a vacation and quickly fell in love with the beauty of the country and the hospitality of the people here. I couldn’t wait to come back. I started coming here about 4 times per year and always had a great time and didn’t want to leave. Two years ago, I decided to leave Arizona and come live in Paradise. I can not tell you how happy I am that I made that decision. Today, I wake up next to the ocean and run on the beach every morning. I eat the most delicious fruits, vegetables and fresh seafood. My stress levels are much lower than when I was living in the States and the potential here for investing, truly is unlimited. The best part of living here is showing our clients this country. I really don’t feel like I have a job for the first time in my life. The joy I receive when I see the look on people’s faces when they get into the warm water of the Pacific ocean is truly priceless. For those of you that have come and discovered paradise, you know what I am talking about. For those of you that are on the way, I can’t wait to get you here. And to those who are thinking about Costa Rica, please do yourself a favor and come down. You will have the time of your life.
