Biscayne Boulevard and 53rd Street. Light pole still remains on the sidewalk after nearly two weeks.

There is something seriously wrong with our local government. It’s been nearly two weeks since this light pole was knocked down in a car crash. As of last night the light pole was still on the sidewalk. This is unacceptable. And we are a world class city right?

One Response to Debris From Car Crash on Biscayne Boulevard Remains on Sidewalk After Nearly Two Weeks

  1. Wallace Bray says:

This procedure is quite common now a days. I drive past a scene just like this one every day at the 500 block of West 49th Street in Hialeah. It has been this way for 4 to 6 weeks. Local governments have their hands tied. There is less revenue from the 5-year recession/depression, tens of thousands of corporations keeping their multi-million/billion dollars in profits off shore to avoid taxes and the really big one, our screwed up priorities spending billions/trillions on military hardware to Drone Bomb innocent civilians in far away places. I wish there was just one elected official who would tell the public the truth and a mass media outlet reporting it, but they have a figurative gun pointed straight at their heads. Remember 50 years ago this November 22, President John Kennedy, five years later The Reverend Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy, etc. etc. etc. “The system isn’t broken, it was built this way.”
