With High Speed Rail and Reauthorization, Florida finds itself at ground zero in the battle for the future of public transportation in the United States. The following transit luminaries will be attending and share briefly about their active efforts to advance public transportation in Florida:
Art Guzzetti: APTA Vice President - Policy. Washington DC
Thomas Hart: U.S. High Speed Rail Association VP and General Counsel - Washington DC
Micheal Steep: Transportation 4 America National Outreach - Washington DC

|This event is expected to capture national transit media attention because FPTA, in partnership with APTA, has chosen this WTS luncheon to unveil its groundbreaking IM4Transit.org campaign, which involves identifying and recruiting at least 100,000 pro-transit Floridians. The campaign will be launched in Florida before being ramped up as a national effort. SFWTS Board Member Denis Eirikis is IM4Transit Campaign Director, and will moderate the panel discussion and presentations.|
Parking is included in the ticket price. Please obtain your parking validation at the event sign-in table.
